Esteban Arimany combines his professional duties, as Meritus Partner at Uría Menéndez, with his position as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Aigües de Barcelona, Empresa Metropolitana de Gestió del Cicle Integral del'Aigüa, S.A. (Metropolitan Company for the Management of the Full Water Cycle, S.A.) (Aigües de Barcelona).
He joined the firm, Uría Menéndez, in 2000, coming from the Senior Body of State Lawyers and after developing his professional practice at his own firm.
He developed an intense career in the field of the state public sector, in which he has acted as a State Lawyer before the Supreme Court of Justice of Catalonia, as Chief State Lawyer at the Special Delegation of Treasury of Catalonia and as Lawyer of the State-Secretary of the Regional Economic Administrative Court of Catalonia.
He led his own professional office, specialising in the area of Administrative Law. He frequently advises businesses in the public and private sector, in both projects including financing and exploitation of public infrastructures, such as administrative contracting. He develops extensive work in the field of public services linked to the full water cycle.
Esteban Arimany is an Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Barcelona, he is an author of various publications and he has given classes in other public and private centres.
